What is Building Prospects?
Building Prospects is a fun, peer led program of hour-long workshops, designed to empower blind and partially sighted young people. We create a confidence building, supportive environment which helps participants explore pathways towards employment, with the ultimate ambition of helping people unlock the career of their dreams. It’s also a great chance to learn from the experience of others and build new relationships.
Who is this for? Curious young people between the ages of 13-18 years old.
What we do? Create a fun environment four our students the to explore their unique career journey, whilst practicing invaluable employability skills along the way.
How do we get involved? Participants are invited to join us remotely by Zoom. The first instalment of the program will run for four consecutive weeks prior to the May half term.
This summer, we are offering people the opportunity to join us from 5pm on either Tuesday or Wednesday. Two different days where you can join in the fun! We are planning to kick it all off from 29th April.
