Who: Visually impaired students and graduates, aged 18+

What: Education to Employment is our flagship event that combines adventure and team building with networking and interviews. The aim of this event is to build confidence and gain interview experience in order to progress into graduate employment.
This event will be centred around finance and professional services, getting an insight into the various roles available within the sector and practicing interview skills with a top employer.
Itinerary
Day One
Day one will start with a welcome to the event and goal setting. In this session, we will discuss what you hope to gain from the event and answer any questions you may have.
Day Two
Day two will start with a visit to a top employer where you will hear more about their organisation, variety of roles and their recruitment process. Following this, we will head to an adventure park where you will take part in tubing and a team building activity, a fun way to get to know everyone better and try something a bit different. We will then head back to the hotel to freshen up for the evening meal. We will enjoy a three-course meal where you will have the opportunity to meet some of our alumni and chat to them about their different career experiences.
Day Three
This is where the hard work begins; the morning session will provide insight into interviews and different interview styles. In the afternoon, you will take part in mock interviews with an employer, receiving detailed feedback on your performance.
