Blind in Business University Ambassador Scheme

Are you currently studying at university?

Are you interested in developing your transferable skills and adding great experience to your CV?

Then apply today to become a BiB university ambassador!

As a BiB ambassador, you will be responsible for organising two networking events for VI students over the course of two terms at your university. Your responsibility will include planning, promoting and running the events and ensuring good level of attendance.

The BiB ambassadors are vital to promote BiB services throughout the university, ensuring students know of the support we provide and the events that we run.

Alongside being a BiB university ambassador, you will also sit on the BiB student panel, providing advice and guidance to the employment team on ways to engage with students and promote our services.

Before starting as an ambassador, you will attend a training day with BiB. This will include meeting fellow university ambassadors as well as training to prepare for the two terms.

After successfully running two events, you will be invited to a celebration lunch with all BiB ambassadors. You will also receive a guaranteed spot on our flagship event, Education to Employment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your transferable skills such as organisation, time management and communication and will be a great addition to your CV.

*This opportunity is exclusively for students registered as blind or partially sighted*
