What: Education to Employment is our flagship event that combines adventure and team building with networking and interviews! The aim of this event is to build confidence and gain interview experience in order to make the next step into employment.
The event will focus on finance and professional services and will help you to gain an insight into the various roles available within the sector, as well as providing support with enhancing your interview skills.
Itinerary
Day One
Day one will start with a welcome to the event and goal setting. In this session, we will discuss what you hope to gain from the event and answer any questions you may have.
Day Two
On day two, we will head to an adventure park where you will take part in tubing and a team building activity, a fun way to get to know everyone better and try something a bit different! We will then head back to the hotel to freshen up for the evening meal. We will enjoy a three-course dinner where you will have the opportunity to meet some of our alumni and chat to them about their different career experiences.
Day Three
This is where the hard work begins! In the morning, we will head off to the offices of an internationally recognised organisation, where you will learn more about how they work, the variety of roles, and their recruitment process. In the afternoon, you will take part in mock interviews with members of staff, receiving detailed feedback on your performance.
The event is free to attend, but places fill up fast so be sure to book ASAP!
