Are you a visually impaired university student in Liverpool? Are you starting to think about employment?
On Thursday 26th, we are providing 20 minute one to one slots for visually impaired students between 4 and 6. In these appointments, we discuss the events we run and our alum mentor network. From adjustments and disclosure to applying for jobs in different industries, BiB can answer any questions students may have and discuss the support we can provide.
Who we are and how we can help?
Blind in Business is a charity that works across the UK to make sure that blind and partially sighted students are getting access to the very best graduate jobs in the country. We support over 60 graduates into jobs and internships each year in various industries such as finance, law, Journalism and more.
BIB run a number of residential masterclasses throughout the year aimed at preparing students for their first day on the job. We also work with graduate employers to run mock assessment centres and insight days and have a network of visually impaired mentors in businesses across the UK.
