Friends and Relatives

Blind in Business help people who are blind or partially sighted to get into work. If you have a friend or relative who is blind, and you think they would benefit from our help, please put them in touch with us.

We have a wide range of services that we can offer to your friend or loved one, and plenty of events that provide training, education and resources as well as activities and fun. From workshops through to residential courses, we have everything they might need to get ahead.

If you think that your friend or relative could do with some help to achieve all that you know they’re capable of, or they need a confidence boost when it comes to talking to employers and going to interviews, we’d love to help.

We work with graduates to help them get into work, but we start helping much earlier than that; if your friend or relative is aged 13-16, we have resources and training that could really benefit them in choosing their future path. From technology to career planning, our courses help young people with visual impairments recognise how many opportunities they have.

If you’re interested in how blind and visually impaired people can succeed in business, why not come along with your friend or relative to one of our Expectations Exceeded workshops, where you can meet role models from all walks of life who are achieving their goals and working in a wide variety of fields.
